General
Creating your wish list takes no time at all. First, log in to your Wunschlist account or create a new one. To start a new wish list, simply enter a title, the occasion, and, if required, the date into the form. Click "Create wish list”, adjust your settings, and you're ready to go!
Absolutely! You can create as many wish lists as you like.
Yes, to create, share, and comment on wish lists, you need a Wunschlist account. Creating an account is completely free and only takes a few moments.
You can delete your Wunschlist account at any time directly within the app or on the website. All personal data associated with your account will also be deleted in the process.
Step-by-step instructions
- Open Wunschlist and log in to your account
- Go to Account → Settings
- Open the section "Account Management & Security"
- Select "Delete account"
- Confirm the deletion of your account via email
After confirmation, your account will be permanently deleted. This process cannot be undone.
When you delete your account, the following data will be removed, among other things:
- Profile data (e.g. name, email address)
- Wishlists and content
- Connections to third-party services (e.g. Facebook login)
Facebook Login (SSO)
If you registered or logged in to Wunschlist using Facebook Login (Single Sign-On), you can delete your account in the same way. Deleting the account in the app will also remove the data provided via Facebook in accordance with the applicable privacy policies.

Adding & managing wishes
Once you have created a wish list, you can edit it at any time via the "Create and manage wish lists" menu. You can also add new items to your list there.
Using the "Create and manage wish lists" menu, you can edit your wishes. For example, you can add details, upload images, and adjust quantities. You can also delete wishes at any time.
This feature is currently in development and will soon be available on Wunschlist.com.
Sharing & gifting
Sharing your wish list is easy. Simply click the "Share wish list" button to generate a link. Once copied, you can send the link via text, email, or social media. Alternatively, you can invite others via email by using the "Add user" feature found in the three-dot menu within the wish list overview.
Only you can add, remove, or modify items on your wish list. People you invite can only reserve items for themselves and post comments.
Yes. Once a wish is fulfilled, it is marked as purchased for all members of the wish list.
Privacy & security
Your wish lists are visible only to the people you have invited via link or email. No one else has access or can view the items you’ve added.
Absolutely. Your personal data and wishes are stored securely and anonymously on servers in Germany. You can also delete your free account at any time.
